Sunflower Doll Kimono

Description

This is a historically accurate ladies kimono designed for a 12" doll (1/6 scale BJD). I had a lot of fun making this and think it turned out nicely.

I used metallic gold thread for most of it, and white thread for the belt and undergarments. I plan on repainting her face when I get my materials, but for now, generic face. This entire piece was stitched by hand - I did not use a machine (because I don't know how to use it) and was really cheap to make. For the cloth, I used 2 different design fat quarters (designed for quilting I think?) which only cost $0.92 each!

That's it for now! Hope you like it. :)

do you take custom orders and if you do what is the smallest size you think you could do?
